The Chamber Buzz presented by Everwise Credit Union is a free monthly breakfast for members that will feature updates from elected officials, community leaders, new chamber members, and special guests. The series is hosted by Gallery 1245 located at 1245 S. 11th Street in Niles at 8:30am on the first Wednesday of the month from February through November. It's a one-stop-shop event for members where they can learn about everything coming up in the community.

Code Works is a digital consultant company that will be administering a free grant program in Niles supported by the Greater Niles Chamber with help from local foundations. The Digital Storefront Program will award five $10,000 grant to small businesses and non-profits who are seeking to take their on-line presence to the next level. Alex Sejdinaj is the CEO of Code Works and will explain how the grant program works.

Indeck Niles is a next generation clean energy center. It generates 1,000 megawatts of energy, enough to power 635,000 homes and businesses through the use of clean natural gas and state-of-the-art technologies. It is the most efficient energy center of its kind in Michigan, replacing older, dirtier and less efficient coal-fired plants. Kevin Kringle is the Plan Manager and will give us an update on the facility.
