ABOUT THE EMBERS:

The Embers is located in Southwestern Michigan, on the banks of the St. Joseph River. This hidden gem is only a 20 minute drive from Notre Dame and 1.5 hours away from Chicago. Inside this beautiful structure, guests will enjoy a recently renovated space that accommodates up to 95 guests inside the venue. The sweeping windows allow natural lighting for photography and showcasing the best view of the property and water. The building is equipped with air conditioning, heat. and an indoor fireplace for all year round comfort. In 2006, SugarElla's Catering was established. Within the recent years, Kim Putney and her two children, Hunter Putney, and Carli Putney have worked to create a creative catering business, establishing themselves within the community as a unique catering service. It has always been the dream to have their own venue as they now offer event planning, decor, and day of services. The Embers offers hosting for weddings, private events, birthday parties, corporates meetings, and so much more.
