The Chamber Buzz presented by Everwise Credit Union is a free monthly breakfast for members that will feature updates from elected officials, community leaders, new chamber members, and special guests. The series is hosted by Gallery 1245 located at 1245 S. 11th Street in Niles at 8:30am on the first Wednesday of the month from February through November. It's a one-stop-shop event for members where they can learn about everything coming up in the community. This month the organizational spotlight is on Cornerstone Alliance.

Marla Schneider is the President and CEO of Cornerstone Alliance. She oversees Cornerstone’s efforts to attract and retain businesses, foster entrepreneurship and create a thriving economic landscape in Southwest Michigan. Cornerstone, established 35 years ago, is the largest economic development organization in Southwest Michigan.

Schneider holds a bachelor’s of science in information technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y., and has been recognized for her contributions to economic development by being named one of Crain’s Grand Rapids 200 Most Influential leaders in West Michigan for the past two years.
