The Chamber Buzz presented by Everwise Credit Union is a free monthly breakfast for members that will feature updates from elected officials, community leaders, new chamber members, and special guests. The series is hosted by Gallery 1245 located at 1245 S. 11th Street in Niles at 8:30am on the first Wednesday of the month from February through November. It's a one-stop-shop event for members where they can learn about everything coming up in the community. This month the organizational spotlight will be on Niles Main Street & Ferry Street Resource Center.

Niles Main Street has many functions, which it carries out under the discretion of and for the City of Niles. Niles Main Street is made up of eight (8) to twelve (12) area citizens and business professionals who each serve 4-year terms on the board. They are charged with facilitating the redevelopment plan of the downtown area. Lisa Croteau is the Director of Marketing and Administration for Niles Main Street.

The mission of the Ferry Street Resource Center is to assist area residents in securing resources and to provide educational and life-enrichment programs and activities through their "Building Bridges to Opportunity and Sustainability" program. Ric Pawloski is the Executive Director and will provide an update on the organization since their historic fire.
